Job summary

Genting Plantations Berhad is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to determine operational objectives by studying business functions, gathering information and evaluating output requirements. You will monitor project progress, resolve problems, publish progress reports, and recommend actions.

Responsibilities include evaluating processes, leading optimization initiatives, automating systems, and conducting meetings to share findings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in IT/Business or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years in Business/Systems Analysis or Quality Assurance.
• Experience in Agriculture/Finance/Supply Chain domain is a plus.
• Willing to travel across East & West Malaysia and Indonesia (30%).

Responsibilities

• Assess and improve business processes, gather requirements, and implement solutions.
• Lead ongoing reviews of business processes and optimization strategies.
• Stay up-to-date on IT advancements to automate systems.
• Conduct meetings and present findings; perform requirements analysis.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Evaluating business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions.

Leading ongoing reviews of business processes and developing optimization strategies.

Staying up-to-date on the latest process and IT advancements to automate and modernize systems.

Conducting meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings.

Performing requirements analysis.

Documenting and communicating the results of your efforts.

Effectively communicating your insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management.

Gathering critical information from meetings with various stakeholders and producing useful reports.

Working closely with users, vendor, and managerial staff, serving as a liaison between stakeholders, users and vendor

Ensuring solutions meet business needs and requirements.

Performing IT testing and user acceptance testing.

Prioritizing initiatives based on business needs and requirements.

Monitoring deliverables and ensuring timely completion of project tasks.

Review and continuously improve IT support performance.

Requirements:

Possess at least Bachelor Degree in Information Technology / Business or equivalent

Minimum 5 years of working experience in Business / Systems Analysis or Quality Assurance

Advantage if have agricultural / financial / Supply Chain domain knowledge

Willing to travel across East & West Malaysia and Indonesia (30%- medium ) during project implementation period
