Job summary

IMPRESSIVE COMMUNICATION SDN BHD is seeking a business analyst with a minimum of 3 years' experience to join a collaborative team. You will attend daily stand-ups, document requirements in JIRA, and work with SMEs to resolve gaps.

The role involves coordinating sprint demos, developing test artifacts, and driving defects through triage and resolution. You will liaise across streams to ensure timely sign-offs and adherence to SLAs while maintaining clear communication with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Attend Daily Stand-Up (DSU) to update workstream leads and kanban board on task status.
• Document requirements in user stories format in JIRA including customer experience journey, screen navigations, validations, and exception handling.
• Engage with SMEs/PICs to close requirements gaps.
• Coordinate and present in sprint demo and obtain sign-off from stakeholders.
• Develop test plan, test cases and test scripts for modules assigned.
• Execute UAT and regression; document test results and defects in JIRA/Confluence.
• Attend daily test triage with workstream leads/test manager and detail defects.

Attend Daily Stand-Up (DSU) to update verbally to workstream lead(s) and kanban board on task completion, in-progress, and highlight impediments/obstacles faced in completing tasks assigned

Document requirements in user stories format in JIRA including customer experience journey, screen navigations, validations and exception handlings, formula calculation and/or Lo-Fi wireframe mocking if required

Engage with SMEs/PICs in closing any requirements gaps

Coordinate and present in sprint demo, and obtain sign-off from stakeholders

Develop test plan, test cases and test scripts for modules assigned

Execute UAT and regression; document test result and defects on JIRA/Confluence

Attend daily test triage with workstream leads/test manager and articulate details of defects raised

Coordinate with other workstreams (e.g. tech, ops) during defect fixing stage

Ensure closure of logged defects as per SLAs and update statuses of defects timely in JIRA/Confluence
