Job summary

HCL Technologies Limited in Kuala Lumpur invites an experienced Business Analyst to bridge business and technology, translating needs into actionable requirements and delivering consumer-facing solutions across APAC.

You will lead requirements workshops, create BRDs, user stories, process flows, and acceptance criteria, while coordinating with senior stakeholders, product owners, and QA teams through Agile delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business/IT/computer science or related field.
• 10+ years of Business Analysis experience in technology or digital projects.
• Proven ability to manage senior stakeholders in complex delivery environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to turn ambiguity into requirements.
• Hands-on experience with customer-facing or consumer servicing platforms.
• Solid knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies.

We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join our APAC Consumer Servicing Technology team. You will act as the bridge between business stakeholders and technology teams, translating business needs into actionable requirements and helping deliver impactful consumer-facing technology solutions across the region.

Key Responsibilities

Business Analysis & Requirements

• Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements through stakeholder workshops and interviews.
• Create key BA artefacts including BRDs, user stories, process flows, use cases, and acceptance criteria.
• Identify process gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
• Conduct impact assessments for new initiatives and system changes.
• Translate business requirements into clear specifications for development and QA teams

Stakeholder Management

• Build strong relationships with business leaders, product owners, and technology teams across APAC.
• Act as the primary liaison between business and technology throughout the project lifecycle.
• Facilitate requirement workshops, stakeholder reviews, and UAT sessions.
• Communicate complex concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Manage competing priorities and navigate ambiguity in a fast-paced environment.

Delivery & Governance

• Support Agile delivery activities including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and reviews.
• Coordinate and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), defect tracking, and validation of business outcomes.
• Maintain project documentation and requirements traceability.
• Support change management, training, go-live readiness, compliance, and audit requirements.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and post-implementation reviews.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 10+ years of Business Analysis experience, preferably in technology or digital transformation projects.
• Proven experience managing senior stakeholders and working in complex delivery environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to turn ambiguity into structured requirements.
• Hands‑on experience with customer‑facing or consumer servicing platforms.
• Strong knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• Proficiency in Jira, Confluence, MS Visio, and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.

Preferred Experience

• Financial Services experience, particularly Banking or Insurance.
• Experience with Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, Nice CXone, Genesys, or similar platforms.
• Experience working in regulated environments with compliance, audit, and data privacy requirements.
• Knowledge of BPMN, business process modelling, Lean, or process improvement methodologies.
• Professional certifications such as CBAP, PMI-PBA, IIBA, or equivalent.
