Qualifications

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical Business Analyst to bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technology teams. The successful candidate will be responsible for understanding business needs, documenting requirements, analysing processes, and ensuring that technology solutions align with strategic business objectives. The role will work closely with Business Units, Project Managers, Developers, Vendors, and Senior Management to deliver digital transformation initiatives, system enhancements, process improvements, and regulatory compliance projects.

Key Responsibilities

Business Analysis & Requirements Management

Engage stakeholders to understand business objectives, challenges, and opportunities.

Gather, analyze, and document business, functional, and non-functional requirements.

Facilitate workshops, interviews, and requirement gathering sessions.

Translate business requirements into detailed user stories and functional specifications.

Maintain requirements traceability throughout the project lifecycle.

Process Improvement

Analyse current business processes and identify inefficiencies.

Develop process maps and recommend process optimization initiatives.

Support automation and digitalization projects.

Promote continuous improvement of business workflows and customer experiences.

Project Delivery Support

Act as liaison between business users, IT teams, and external vendors.

Support solution design and ensure alignment with business requirements.

Participate in project planning, risk identification, and status reporting.

Assist Project Managers in managing scope, change requests, and stakeholder expectations.

Testing & Quality Assurance

Develop and review test scenarios and test cases.

Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

Validate delivered solutions against approved requirements.

Support issue identification, root cause analysis, and remediationactivities.

Communicate project updates and potential risks.

Facilitate discussions to resolve conflicting requirements.

Prepare presentation materials for management and key stakeholders.

Produce functional specifications, process flows, and user guides.

Ensure documentation complies with internal governance requirements.

Support audit, risk, and compliance initiatives where applicable.

3 to 7 years' experience as a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or similar role.

Experience participating in software development or business transformation projects.

Experience working with external vendors and internal business stakeholders.

Technical Skills

Business process modelling (BPMN, Visio, Lucidchart, etc.).

Requirements gathering and documentation.

SQL and data analysis fundamentals.

API and system integration knowledge.

Microsoft 365 ecosystem.
