Job summary

Ltria Private Limited / Ltria Benefits Sdn Bhd is seeking a capable Business Analyst to join our Project Management Office in Kuala Lumpur. You will work with Senior BAs and Project Managers to gather, document, and clarify requirements and translate them into practical solutions delivered by design and development teams.

The role is hands-on, requires 3–5 years of BA experience, and offers mentoring, training, and certification support.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years hands-on experience as a Business Analyst or similar role.
• Experience delivering IT/digital or software project requirements from gathering to UAT.
• Familiar with Agile, Scrum and/or Waterfall delivery methods.
• Proficient in JIRA ticketing, CR management, and Confluence documentation.
• Strong process modelling and workflow documentation using draw.io or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Elicit and document business and functional requirements from stakeholders.
• Prepare and facilitate requirement workshops and capture needs and actions.
• Translate requirements into user stories, use cases, and acceptance criteria.
• Create and maintain CRs and JIRA tickets with clear specs for design and dev teams.
• Review requirements for completeness and feasibility and escalate gaps.
• Support PMOs in defining scope, timelines, and deliverables.
• Build relationships with internal teams and client stakeholders.
• Draft BRDs/FRDs and supporting specifications.
• Write and execute UAT test cases and scripts.
• Identify improvements to systems, tools, and workflows.

Job description

We are looking for a capable and detail-oriented Business Analyst to join our Project Management Office. In this role, you will work alongside Senior Business Analysts and Project Managers to gather, document, and clarify business requirements, and to help translate them into practical solutions delivered by our design and development teams. This is a hands-on delivery role suited to someone who already has solid business analysis experience and is ready to take ownership of workstreams within larger projects, with guidance and mentoring available as you grow towards senior level.

Key responsibilities

Elicit, analyse, and document business and functional requirements from stakeholders across departments and client industries.

Prepare for and facilitate requirement-gathering sessions, capturing business needs, pain points, and follow-up actions.

Translate business requirements into clear user stories, use cases, acceptance criteria, and process flows using draw.io or equivalent tools.

Create and maintain Change Requests (CRs) and JIRA tickets with well-structured specifications for designers and developers to act upon.

Review requirements for completeness, consistency, and feasibility, escalating gaps or conflicts to the Senior Business Analyst or Project Manager.

Support Project Managers in defining scope, timelines, and deliverables for assigned workstreams.

Build and maintain productive working relationships with internal teams and client-side stakeholders.

Draft and maintain business requirement documents (BRDs), functional requirement documents (FRDs), and supporting specifications.

Write and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) test cases and test scripts.

Identify and propose improvements to existing systems, tools, and workflows.

About you

Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience as a Business Analyst or in a closely related role.

Demonstrated experience delivering requirements for IT, digital, or software projects from gathering through to UAT.

Exposure to Agile, Scrum, and/or Waterfall delivery frameworks.

Working proficiency in JIRA (ticket creation, CR management, backlog support) and Confluence (documentation).

Competent in process modelling and workflow documentation using draw.io or equivalent diagramming tools.

Solid Microsoft Excel skills; exposure to Power BI or similar reporting tools is an advantage.

Familiarity with Figma or other UI/UX design tools for reviewing design deliverables.

Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.

Clear written and verbal communication skills in English.
