Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a motivated Business Analyst to join our product development team. You will work with business stakeholders and development teams to understand needs and translate them into clear software requirements.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree, 1+ years in business analysis, and a solid grasp of the SDLC, along with strong analytical and communication skills to document and validate requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, CS, Business.
• 1+ years of experience in Business Analysis or similar.
• Good understanding of the software development lifecycle.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
• Basic knowledge of SQL, databases, APIs, and system integration is an advantage.
• Experience in fintech, digital wallet, or regulated industries is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyse, and document business and system requirements.
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Analyse and improve existing business processes and workflows.
• Work closely with developers and project teams throughout the SDLC.
• Prepare process flows, use cases, wireframes, and other functional documentation where required.
• Support system testing, UAT, and production implementation.
• Manage requirement changes and assess their business and system impact.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders and resolve requirement-related issues.
• Ensure delivered solutions meet business requirements and user expectations.
