Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a capable software/system project contributor in Penang. You will join a team to plan and execute development tasks, support testing, and drive enhancements for new and existing systems.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to develop detailed system requirements (SRS) and create screen mockups for new software systems or system upgrades.
• Conduct impact analysis to evaluate how changes or new systems will affect the existing infrastructure and user operations.
• Work closely with project managers to ensure that project timelines, milestones, and deliverables are met, while maintaining technical compatibility and user satisfaction.

• Improves systems by studying current practices; designing modifications.
• Defines project requirements by identifying project milestones, phases.
• Develop detailed system requirements (SRS) and screen mockups, conduct Technical Review, and Impact Analyst.
• Collaborate with the development team to make sure all aspects are delivered on time.
• To control solution by establishing specifications and coordinating production with programmers.
• Validates results by testing programs.
• Work closely with programmers, developers, testers and end users to ensure technical compatibility and user satisfaction.

Requirements

Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Bachelor’s/Professional Degree in Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication), Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.

Experienced working with application programming interface (API).

Possess mixture of technical expertise & management skills.

Knowledge in PHP and C# is a plus.

Result-driven and customer focused.

Good knowledge in front-end development.

Self-motivated, eager to learn, responsible, able to work in a team.

Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

Good communication skills (English, Bahasa Melayu, and Mandarin).
