Job summary

Accenture in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a capable Business Analyst to bridge business needs and technology solutions. You will gather requirements, translate them into functional specs, and support Agile delivery with stakeholders across the project lifecycle.

You will document processes, facilitate workshops, and help drive improvements that enhance efficiency and customer experience while collaborating with PMs, developers, and testers in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, information systems, computer science, or engineering.
• 3–5 years of experience in business analysis, requirements gathering, or consulting.
• Experience documenting business requirements, process mapping, and functional specs.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders through workshops, interviews, and process reviews.
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications, user stories, and process flows for technology teams.
• Conduct business process analysis and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency, productivity, and customer experience.
• Collaborate with project managers, developers, testers, and business stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support solution design discussions and ensure proposed solutions align with business objectives.
• Facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT), including test scenario creation, execution support, and defect tracking.
• Monitor project deliverables, risks, and dependencies to ensure successful implementation.
• Prepare reports, presentations, and documentation to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in business analysis, requirements gathering, or consulting-related roles.
• Experience in documenting business requirements, process mapping, and functional specifications.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex business needs.
• Experience working in Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid project environments.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and facilitation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in digital transformation, process optimization, or system implementation projects.
• Knowledge of business analysis tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Visio, or similar platforms.
• Familiarity with data analysis and reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or SQL.
• Professional certifications such as CBAP, CCBA, PMI-PBA, or Agile certifications.
• Experience working within consulting or professional services environments.
