Job summary

Knight Frank Malaysia is seeking a proactive Building Operations Manager to oversee daily facilities management in Penang. You will ensure maintenance, security, cleanliness, tenant satisfaction, and smooth move-ins/outs while coordinating with contractors and local authorities.

Responsibilities include cost-conscious budgeting, regular inspections for safety, reporting, and expanding building efficiency initiatives.

  • Manage and coordinate daily operations of the building, including maintenance, security, and cleanliness.
  • Oversee tenant relations, addressing inquiries, concerns, and ensuring tenant satisfaction.
  • Facilitate the moving in/out process for tenants, including renovations and repairs as needed.
  • Act as a liaison with local authorities, ensuring compliance with building codes and regulations.
  • Supervise and manage outsourced term contractors for various building services.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize building efficiency and reduce operational costs.
  • Assist in preparing and manage budgets, financial reports, and expenditures related to building operations.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure the building meets safety and cleanliness standards.
  • Respond promptly to emergencies and resolve issues that may arise onsite.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to building operations and tenant interactions.

About The Role
