Job summary

SAVILLS (KL) SDN. BHD. is seeking a Building Executive to compile M&E plans, study equipment documents and manage preventive maintenance across building services in Kuala Lumpur.

The role supports the Building Manager with checklists, handover routines, and tender processes, requiring strong M&E knowledge and coordination across departments. Based in Kuala Lumpur, the incumbent will supervise on-site contractors, ensure permits and insurances are in place, and communicate with tenants and staff.

Qualifications

• Degree in Real Estate Management or an M&E related field.
• At least 3 years experience in M&E equipment, A/C, fire alarm systems, and building automation.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint; computer literate.

• Compile building layout plans, M&E plans, building drawings and perspectives.
• Compile and study M&E equipment documents.
• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on all services.
• Assist Building Manager in preparing and updating daily/weekly/monthly checklists.

Job description

To compile all building lay out plans, M&E plans, building drawings and perspective.

To compile and study all M&E equipment documents.

To carry out overall Preventive and Corrective Maintenance on all services.

To assist Building Manager in preparing and updating a daily/ weekly/ monthly check list.

To prepare Handover Check list all services.

To assist Building Manager in training technician on all equipment and general maintenance.

To assist Building Manager in tender process and invitation of quotations.

Liaise with other department staff i.e. Marketing & Leasing, A&P, Tenant Management, Security and Car Park Operator to encourage good team work and inter departmental relations and to provide a prompt and efficient service.

To assist the Building Manager in the management, control and supervision of on site contractors and authorized workmen.

To assist the Building Manager in providing on site contractors with permits to work, and to ensure the necessary approvals and insurances are in place prior to allowing any work within the mall.

To ensure all mechanical and electrical (‘M&E’) equipment is in good working order.

Requirement :

Must possess a Degree in Real Estate Management, Mechanical & Electrical Engineering (M&E) or a related field.

At least 3 years working experiences , specializing in M&E Equipment, Air-conditioning, Fire Alarm Systems, and Building Automation Systems.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Computer literate, with the ability to handle basic office and maintenance management software.

Meticulous and able to work independently.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with various levels of staff and tenants.

Preferably available to join immediately or on short notice.
