Job summary

Channel Micron Holdings Company Limited is seeking a Building Executive to oversee the factory’s building and facilities, ensuring safety, maintenance, and compliant operations. The role involves coordinating with contractors, conducting regular inspections, and maintaining records of maintenance and compliance.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of relevant experience, strong communication and leadership skills, and proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Qualifications

• Experience in Property Management, Building Surveying, Facility Management or related field.
• At least 3-5 years working experience in relevant fields.
• Knowledge of building systems and maintenance.
• Ability to coordinate contractors and building rectification works.
• Good communication, problem-solving and leadership.
• Computer literate, especially Microsoft Office.
• Proficiency in both written and spoken in English and Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin is an advantage.
• Possess own transport and willingness to travel.
• Willing to work extra hours/on-call when required.

Responsibilities

Job description

The Building Executive is mainly responsible for managing the building, facilities, safety, contractors, and day-to-day operations of factory.

Key Responsibilities

Building Maintenance

Ensure electrical, plumbing, HVAC, structural facilities, cleanliness, security, landscaping, and waste management are properly maintained.

Oversee repairs and maintenance work, coordinating with vendors and contractors.

Conduct weekly building inspections, identify defects/issues, and arrange repairs.

Health & Safety

Ensure compliance with building laws, fire safety, health & safety requirements, and conduct risk assessments.

Ensure fire alarms, sprinklers, firefighting equipment, and other safety systems are regularly tested and maintained.

Administration & Reporting

Maintain maintenance/inspection records, contracts, compliance documents, and submit monthly property condition reports.

To keep records of all maintenance contracts and ensure that all the equipment such as fire-fighting equipment etc., are tested and maintained as per operation manual.

Requirements

Experience in Property Management, Building Surveying, Facility Management or related field.
