Job summary

QL Livestock Farming Sdn Bhd is seeking a managerial professional to oversee flock health programs for chickens and pullets, ensuring disease prevention and consistent product quality. The role directs equipment maintenance and drives productivity through cost control and efficient resource use.

You will lead manpower planning, mentor staff, set goals, and review results while monitoring daily production reports to meet schedules. Accommodation is provided for outstation staff.

Qualifications

• Degree in Animal Science or related field.
• 2 years of experience in livestock farming in a managerial capacity.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of poultry health, disease diagnostics and performance data interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee flock and health programs for chickens and pullets to prevent disease and ensure product quality.
• Direct and oversee equipment maintenance for safety, cleanliness, and productivity.

Job description

Oversee the implementation of flock and health programs for chickens and pullets to avoid the spreading of disease and ensure consistent product quality.

Direct and oversee the maintenance of equipment to ensure a high standard of safety, cleanliness and productivity.

Improve and enhance the efficiencies in the farm operations through cost control and maximize resources to meet production schedules.

Take charge of manpower planning and optimization.

Provide guidance, mentoring, and motivation to staff in carrying out their roles and responsibilities which include delegation of works, setting goals, and review results.

Prepare, monitor and analyse daily and weekly production reports.

Requirements:

Possess a Degree in Animal Science or related.

2 years of experience in livestock farming at managerial capacity.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong knowledge of poultry health, disease diagnostics, and performance data interpretation.
