Job summary

QL Livestock Farming Sdn Bhd is seeking a managerial professional to oversee flock health programs for chickens and pullets, ensuring disease prevention and consistent product quality. The role directs equipment maintenance and drives productivity through cost control and efficient resource use.

You will lead manpower planning, mentor staff, set goals, and review results while monitoring daily production reports to meet schedules. Accommodation is provided for outstation staff.

Qualifications

• Degree in Animal Science or related field.
• 2 years of experience in livestock farming in a managerial capacity.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of poultry health, disease diagnostics and performance data interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee flock and health programs for chickens and pullets to prevent disease and ensure product quality.
• Direct and oversee equipment maintenance for safety, cleanliness, and productivity.
• Improve farm operations through cost control and optimal use of resources to meet production schedules.
• Lead manpower planning and optimization.
• Provide guidance, mentoring, and motivation to staff, including delegation, goal setting and performance reviews.
• Prepare, monitor and analyze daily and weekly production reports.
