Job summary

RT Pastry Holdings Berhad in Malaysia is seeking a Pastry Cook to help prepare breads and pastries, read recipes, and follow food-safety procedures in a busy kitchen.

You will assist with doughs, fillings, proofing, baking and decorating while ensuring high-quality outputs and proper utensil storage. This role supports a brand focused on a Pride in every bite, with opportunities for growth and work-life balance.

Responsibilities

• Prepare breads / pastries, including doughs and fillings, proofing, baking, and decorating.
• Ensure production of good quality products.
• Safely and appropriately use baking and measuring tools/equipment/appliances to prepare baked products.
• Follow and ensure compliance with food safety handling policies and procedures, including personal hygiene procedures.
• Ability to lift heavy items for an extended time.
• Ability to read and follow recipes.
• Ensure the proper storage of baking utensils.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by superior.

Job description
