Job summary

RT Pastry Holdings Berhad in Malaysia is seeking a dependable bakery operative to prepare breads and pastries, including doughs, fillings, proofing, baking, and decorating. You will read recipes and follow them precisely to ensure consistent quality.

You will operate baking equipment safely, maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene, and assist with storage of utensils. The role involves lifting heavy items and performing duties as assigned to support a busy, expanding pastry concept

Responsibilities

• Prepare breads / pastries, including preparing doughs and fillings, proofing, baking, and decorating as appropriate.
• Ensure production of good quality products.
• Safely and appropriately use baking and measuring tools/equipment/appliances to prepare baked products.
• Follow and ensure compliance with food safety handling policies and procedures, including personal hygiene procedures.
• Ability to lift heavy items for an extended time
• Ability to read and follow recipes
• Ensure the proper storage of baking utensils.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by superior
