Job summary

Hong Leong Bank is seeking a frontline associate to deliver excellent customer service at our Malaysia branches. You will handle walk-in customers, process transactions, and contribute to product growth through effective cross selling. The role emphasizes integrity, professional appearance, and strong communication.

Fresh graduates or those with relevant banking experience are welcome. Training, confidentiality, and adherence to conduct are part of daily responsibilities to ensure service

Qualifications

• Malaysian citizen.
• Fresh graduates or candidates with relevant work experience are welcome to apply.
• Experience in financial institutions or related field is preferred.
• Customer interaction, cash handling, transaction processing, and sales experience.
• Basic banking knowledge; high level of integrity and accountability; strong service mindset and communication skills; cross selling abilities.
• FIMM/UT license (optional); PCE & TBE license (optional).

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service to walk-in customers and contribute to CSAT and Mystery Shopping results.
• Carry clear targets for CASA and FD book growth; cross selling of PL, Credit Cards, Portfolio Sales and ASBF Funding.
• Learn and use I-Pads/other devices for customer service and cross selling.
• Carry out branch transactions (deposits, withdrawals, remittances, etc.) and end-of-day cash balancing as applicable.
• Maintain confidentiality of customers and Bank’s information; keep a clean, organized work area; attend trainings including e-learning/Workday.
• Observe branch rotation guidelines and adhere to the Bank’s Code of Conduct & Ethics; assist in branch housekeeping and other duties as assigned.
