Job summary

Alliance Bank Malaysia Berhad is seeking a capable branch operations professional to perform day-to-day processing and handling of transactions, ensuring service quality in line with the bank's objectives. The role includes acting as Relief SOM in their absence and carrying out Chief Cashier responsibilities such as managing cash holdings and end-of-day balancing.

You will respond to customer inquiries, support SOM in growth, monitor KPI achievement, and assist with compliance and risk control,

Responsibilities

• Processing and handling day-to-day branch transactions while ensuring service quality standards are met in line with the Bank's strategic objectives.
• Responsible as Relief SOM roles in the absence of the Relief SOM.
• Performing Chief Cashier responsibilities, including managing the branch's cash holdings, balancing activities, SST cash loading, and cash-related operations.
• Handling customer enquiries and complaints and providing first-line resolution and support.
• Supporting the SOM in driving branch business growth, monitoring asset quality, and maintaining service delivery standards.
• Sharing responsibility for the branch's KPI achievement, sales performance, and business growth targets.
• Responding to operational and compliance-related enquiries from CRR, AML, Group Compliance (GC), and other stakeholders.
• Assisting the SOM in remediation exercises, compliance reviews, and other ad hoc assignments.
• Reviewing end-of-day vouchers, reports, and other operational controls as assigned by the SOM.
• Supporting branch governance, operational risk management, and compliance with internal policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
