Job summary

Melilea International in Malaysia seeks an Assistant Branch Manager to support the Regional Manager in daily operations, sales, and customer service across our wellness and beauty brand standards. This role helps manage staff, distributors, customers, and ensures smooth workflow.

The ideal candidate has 2-4 years in retail or wellness, strong leadership and communication, and is willing to work weekends or events. Mandarin ability is a plus; join a vibrant team focused on growth and excellence.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
• 2-4 years experience in retail, wellness or direct selling industry.
• Possess leadership, excellent management, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Willing to work during weekends or events (if required).
• Ability to speak Mandarin will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing daily branch activities including retail sales, member support, and product handling.
• Ensure smooth operation of the outlet/branch in line with company SOP.
• Monitor opening, closing, and daily operational procedures.
• Support in achieving branch sales targets (retail & direct selling).
• Promote Melilea health and skincare products to customers and members.
• Assist in organizing sales campaigns, roadshows, and product promotions.
• Build and maintain relationships with distributors, members, and customers.
• Provide professional consultation on health and skincare products.
• Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback efficiently.
• Ensure high level of customer satisfaction and brand experience.
• Supervise and guide sales staff and branch personnel.
• Assist in staff scheduling, attendance monitoring, and discipline.
• Provide coaching, product knowledge training, and motivation to the team.
• Act as Person-In-Charge (PIC) when Branch Manager is absent.
• Monitor stock levels & ensure proper stock ordering, receiving, and storage.
• Conduct stock count and minimize losses or discrepancies.
• Assist in handling daily sales transactions and cash management.
• Prepare sales reports, stock reports, and performance updates.
• Ensure accuracy in billing and POS system.
• Ensure all operations follow Melilea brand standards and guidelines.
• Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and professional outlet image.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and direct selling regulations.
• Assist in organizing product training, wellness talks, and member events.
• Support recruitment and onboarding of new distributors/members.
• Promote company culture of health, beauty, and success.
