Job summary

MANJAKU RETAIL SDN. BHD. is seeking an Assistant Branch Manager to oversee day-to-day store operations in Malaysia.

You will manage inventory, merchandising, and maintenance while driving traffic, profitability, and customer satisfaction. Lead a team to achieve KPIs and maintain visual standards across the branch. The role requires strong communication, leadership, and POS skills, with flexibility to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong leadership with ability to motivate team.
• Proficiency in using POS systems and computer literate.
• Knowledge of retail operations, including sales techniques and inventory management.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of store operations including inventory, merchandising and maintenance.
• Develop business strategies to raise customer pool, store traffic and profitability.
• Lead and motivate the team to achieve KPIs.
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service.
• Complete store administration and ensure policy compliance.
• Maintain store condition and visual merchandising standards.
• Report on buying trends, customer needs and profits.
• Propose ideas to increase market share.
• Handle staff and customer issues (complaints, grievances).
• Be a model of good conduct and high performance.
• Assist with ad-hoc tasks as needed.
