Job summary

MAN Truck & Bus Malaysia is seeking a Branch Manager to lead the service outlet, drive market development and ensure strong customer satisfaction. You will manage key customers, develop new business channels, and oversee day-to-day operations from appointment to invoicing, while aligning with SCP and quality standards.

The role requires a commercial/technical degree, several years in a similar leadership position in the commercial vehicles sector, and a valid Commercial Driving License.

Qualifications

• Commercial degree and/or technical degree with additional commercial training/certification.
• Several years of work experience in a comparable position, preferably in the commercial vehicles industry.
• Familiar with Service Core Processes (SCP).
• Familiar MS-Office (intermediate PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
• Driver’s license (Truck, Bus, Van) with Commercial Driving License (GDL).

Responsibilities

• Interact actively with the market to exploit market potential and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Take care of key customers personally and acquire new customers.
• External acquisition of orders for the workshop.
• Support planning and implementing workshop marketing.
• Develop new channel business (e.g., Mobile Service).
• Follow up on outstanding payments and collections.
• Carry out day-to-day operations from appointment to invoicing.
• Prepare and present annual business plan and staffing and budget changes.
• Manage the MAN service outlet to targets and enforce regulations.
• Initiate branch development activities including product, parts, and services.
• Improve service processes and KPI-driven productivity.
