Job summary

Speedmark Transportation seeks a commercially driven and hands-on Assistance Branch Manager to lead and grow our JB Branch operations in Malaysia. You will own branch revenue, profitability, daily operations, and customer management, balancing sales growth with efficient logistics execution.

The ideal candidate will drive end-to-end shipments, manage a team across operations and sales support, and establish strong customer relationships while maintaining service quality and KPI performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain, business or related field.
• 3–5 years in freight forwarding/logistics.
• Strong knowledge of air, sea and cross-border freight.
• Proven sales and business development experience.
• Prior leadership or supervisory experience is an advantage.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and problem solving.
• Willing to be on-call for urgent operational matters.

Responsibilities

• Drive revenue and gross profit growth across air & sea freight, and time‑critical logistics.
• Develop new customers, key accounts, and strategic partnerships.
• Manage full sales cycle: prospecting, quotation, negotiation, and closing.
• Oversee end‑to‑end execution of time‑critical shipments and ensure smooth coordination.
• Lead and manage operations, sales support, and admin teams.
• Set KPIs, expectations, and accountability; ensure 24/7 coverage where required.
• Prepare regular reports on sales, operations, and financial performance.
