Job summary

Credit Bureau Malaysia is seeking a capable Service Manager to oversee the commercial truck service operations. You will supervise Service Advisors, Supervisors and technicians, ensure repairs meet SOPs, and drive safety and efficiency across the workshop.

Responsibilities include job scheduling, parts coordination, warranty administration, and reporting on WIP and KPIs. A technical background in diesel systems and strong leadership are essential, with a valid driving licence preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Automotive, or Heavy Equipment Engineering (or equivalent).
• Minimum 5–8 years of experience in commercial truck service operations.
• At least 2–3 years of supervisory or management experience.
• Strong knowledge of diesel engines, transmissions, axles, electrical systems, brakes, air systems, hydraulics, and vehicle diagnostics.
• Good leadership, communication, and customer service skills.
• Proficient in-service management systems and Microsoft Office.
• Valid driving licence (commercial licence is an advantage).

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing daily commercial truck service operations.
• Ensure repairs and maintenance meet SOPs.
• Monitor workshop productivity, efficiency, and technician utilization.
• Coordinate job scheduling to minimize downtime.
• Ensure jobs completed within promised delivery times.
• Provide technical guidance to Service Advisors and technicians.
• Handle warranty documentation and claims.
• Supervise Service Advisors, Supervisors, and technicians.
• Monitor KPIs like service and parts sales targets.
• Ensure safety and compliance with SOPs.
