Job summary

AGX Logistics (M) Sdn Bhd in Seberang Perai, Penang, Malaysia is seeking a Branch Manager to lead our Penang operations, drive freight forwarding growth, and ensure service excellence across air/ocean freight, customs brokerage, and warehousing.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in logistics or related field and at least 5 years in freight forwarding or logistics management, with strong leadership and negotiation skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of management experience in freight forwarding or logistics.
• Strong knowledge of freight forwarding, customs brokerage, and warehousing.
• Proven track record in P&L management and business growth.
• Excellent leadership, negotiation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Penang branch to achieve revenue, profitability, and customer service targets.
• Develop growth strategies to expand market share in the Northern Region.
• Oversee air/ocean freight, customs brokerage, transport, and warehousing operations.
• Drive branch sales, manage major tenders, and strategic opportunities.
• Own the branch P&L, budget planning, and cost control.
• Build strong customer relationships and handle escalations professionally.
• Mentor and develop a high-performing branch team.
• Prepare monthly management reports and plan strategic initiatives.
