Job summary

Kotak Malaysia (KOM) Sdn. Bhd. seeks a Certified Boilerman to operate and maintain our boiler and sludge dryer, ensuring safe water treatment and accurate data records.

You will perform preventive maintenance and support facility machinery while collaborating with the team to minimize downtime. Requirements include a Grade 2 boilerman certification and a Diploma or equivalent; WWTP experience is a plus, with manufacturing background preferred.

Qualifications

• Certified Boilerman (Grade 2) with Diploma or equivalent.
• Experiences in WWTP is added advantage.
• Working experience in manufacturing will be preferable.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain the boiler and sludge dryer in the factory effectively.
• Conduct chemical treatment of boiler feed water and steam boilers for safety.
• Record and upkeep the boiler’s operating data.
• Carry out maintenance work for the steam boilers.
• Respond to callback for boiler system recovery when needed.
• Collaborate and provide support to inspections by government authorities or external parties.
• Perform daily, weekly, monthly, half-yearly and yearly preventive maintenance.
• Support and learn other facility and machinery in the factory and assist the team leader.
• Assist and support in machine repairing when required.
• Work with other technicians to solve, maintain, and improve machine downtime.
• Comply with safety and environmental regulations and procedures at all times.
• Perform 5S housekeeping in workshop; keep tools, spare parts, and maintenanceStuff tidy.
• Handle wastewater treatment system operations and daily filter cloth cleaning.
• Record daily parameters and data to the provided checklist.
• Ensure wastewater treatment systems are in good condition.
• Undertake other tasks as assigned by the superior as and when required.

Job description

· Operate and maintain the boiler and sludge dryer in the factor effectively.

· In charge of the chemical treatment of boiler feed water, steam boilers relating to the safety aspect.

·Record and upkeep the boiler’s operating data.

·Responsible to carry out maintenance work for the steam boilers.

·Always respond to call back for boiler system recovery if needed.

·Collaborate and provide support to the inspection audit from government authorities or external party

when necessary.

·Carry out daily, weekly, monthly, half yearly and yearly preventive maintenance.

·Support and learn other facility and machinery in the factory, provide assistance and work together with

the team leader.

·Assist and support in machine repairing when required.

·Work with other technicians to solve, maintain, and improve machine downtime.

·Responsible to comply with relevant safety and environmental regulations and procedures at all time

·Perform 5S housekeeping in workshop and workspace. Ensure all tools, spare parts, fuel, and other

maintenance stuff are store orderly and tidy.

· Perform daily routine job of handling waste water treatment system and daily cleaning the filter cloth.

·Record all the daily parameter and data to provided checklist.

·Ensure all the waste water treatment system in good conditioning.

·Undertake other tasks as assigned by the superior as and when required.

REQUIREMENTS

·Certified Boilerman (Grade 2) with Diploma or equivalent

·Experiences in WWTP is added advantage

·Working experience in manufacturing will be preferable
