Job summary

Adabi Consumer Industries Sdn Bhd is seeking a boiler technician to operate and maintain boilers for efficient daily production. The role emphasizes preventive maintenance to prevent downtime and extend boiler life, with coordination for repairs and inspections by authorities.

The incumbent will ensure safe boiler house practices, accurate reporting, and adherence to housekeeping standards while supporting production processes across departments.

Qualifications

• Boilerman Grade 2 Certificate is required.
• Professional Certificate or Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical) or equivalent.
• At least 2 years' experience in a related field.
• Preferably non-executive staff in mechanical/automotive engineering.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and operate boilers to ensure good conditions and efficiency in daily operation.
• Schedule and implement preventive maintenance to reduce boiler downtime.
• Monitor boiler performance to extend life and prevent production loss.
• Coordinate with contractors for repairs, maintenance, and annual inspections.
• Ensure efficient steam boiler operation in production processes.
• Maintain safe, clean working area and good housekeeping in the boiler house.
• Prepare monthly inventory reports, maintenance reports, and boiler log sheets.
• Contribute to a safe, comfortable work area and handle ad hoc tasks as assigned.

Education

Boilerman Grade 2 Certificate

Professional Certificate/Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical) or equivalent

Job description

To maintain & operate the boilers ensure running in good conditions & operate in the most effective & efficient manner in daily operation

To schedule and implement periodic preventive maintenance to reduce unexpected Boiler downtime.

To monitor and maintain consistency of Boiler, to lengthen the Boiler life span and to avoid lost of production.

To make necessary preparation & follow up with contractors if necessary repair & maintenance & annual inspections by relevant authorities

To Ensure efficient operation of Steam Boilers. Production processes such as Printing and others.

To ensure safety working environment clean working area & maintain good housekeeping maintenance of boilerhouse

To make monthly inventory reports, maintenance report, Boiler Log sheet

To ensure a safe, comfortable and clean working area by periodic maintenance of the areas in and surrounding the Boiler House & other ad hoc task assign by superior

Job Requirements:

Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate, Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Engineering (Mechanical) or equivalent.

Boilerman Grade 2 Certificate

At least 2 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.

Preferably Non-Executives specializing in Engineering - Mechanical/Automotive or equivalent.
