Job summary

Afiintra Technologies Sdn Bhd is seeking a skilled BMS Engineer to design, implement, and maintain Building Management Systems across our projects. You will ensure optimal operation of HVAC, electrical and mechanical systems and collaborate with engineering teams and clients.

The role involves system integration, troubleshooting, commissioning, and selecting equipment to meet project specifications, including site surveys for optimization.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years relevant experience with BMS.
• Ability to read schedules and schematics.
• Familiarity with Honeywell Niagara Framework preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain Building Management Systems (BMS).
• Ensure optimal performance of HVAC, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Collaborate with engineering teams, project managers, and clients.
• Support system integration, troubleshooting, and commissioning.

About the Role

The BMS Engineer is responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of Building Management Systems (BMS) to ensure optimal performance of building services, including HVAC, electrical, and mechanical systems. This role plays a key part in delivering efficient, reliable, and energy-optimized building operations.

The position requires close collaboration with engineering teams, project managers, and clients to support system integration, troubleshooting, and commissioning activities across various projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Conducting regular maintenance checks to identify any system malfunctions.
• Troubleshooting and resolving any issues related to system performance.
• Configuring and integrating various building systems, such as HVAC, lighting, security, and access control.
• Commissioning and testing the system to ensure IT is functioning correctly and meets project specifications.
• Selecting appropriate equipment and components to meet project requirements.
• Conducted site surveys and assessments to identify areas for improvement and optimization of existing systems.

• Minimum of 3 years relevant experience preferably with good knowledge of BMS
• Excel in time management
• Able to read & understand schedule and schematic
• Preferably familiar with Honeywell Niagara Framework
