Job summary

ES CONNECT SDN. BHD. is seeking a BMS Project Engineer for an on-site role in Selangor. You will manage BMS installation work, review drawings, and supervise panels, controllers, sensors, and field devices to ensure delivery per specifications.

The position requires coordinating cabling, testing, and integration with HVAC and other MEP systems, while troubleshooting communication and control issues and producing handover documentation.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Automation, Instrumentation or Building Services Engineering.
• Preferably 3–5 years BMS experience.
• Good analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Possess own transport.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate BMS installation works at project sites.
• Review BMS drawings, specifications, I/O point schedules, control schematics and SOO.
• Supervise installation of BMS panels, DDC/PLC controllers, sensors, actuators and field devices.
• Coordinate BMS cabling, termination and communication networks.
• Understand and troubleshoot BACnet/IP, BACnet MS/TP, Modbus TCP/RTU and TCP/IP.
• Coordinate integration between BMS and HVAC, CRAC/CRAH, chillers, pumps, cooling systems, power meters, UPS/PDU, EPMS/DCIM and other MEP systems.
• Perform/support point-to-point testing, T&C, FAT, SAT, functional performance testing and IST.
• Troubleshoot BMS communication, controller, sensor and integration issues.
• Coordinate with client, consultant, main contractor, BMS vendor and other M&E contractors.
• Prepare method statements, testing reports, progress reports, as-built drawings and handover documentation.

This is a full-time, on-site position based in Elmina, Sungai Buloh, Selangor.

As part of continued growth and involvement in major data centre infrastructure projects for global technology companies, we are looking for a BMS Project Engineer to join our project team and ensure that all works are delivered in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards and project requirements.

Key responsibilities

Manage and coordinate BMS installation works at project sites.

Review BMS drawings, specifications, I/O point schedules, control schematics and Sequence of Operation (SOO).

Supervise installation of BMS panels, DDC/PLC controllers, sensors, actuators and field devices.

Coordinate BMS cabling, termination and communication networks.

Understand and troubleshoot BACnet/IP, BACnet MS/TP, Modbus TCP/RTU and TCP/IP.

Coordinate integration between BMS and HVAC, CRAC/CRAH, chillers, pumps, cooling systems, power meters, UPS/PDU, EPMS/DCIM and other MEP systems.

Perform/support point-to-point testing, T&C, FAT, SAT, functional performance testing and IST.

Job requirements
