Job summary

ADF Technologies Sdn Bhd is seeking a Building Automation Systems technician in Kuala Lumpur to perform service, maintenance, testing and commissioning across BAS with mechanical and electrical interfaces. You will read drawings, develop schedules, and help implement preventive maintenance programs while maintaining accurate cost and procedure records.

The role requires a degree in engineering, proficiency with MS Office, MS Project and AutoCAD, and the ability to work independently or in a team

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent.
• Experience in BAS/HVAC or electrical/electronic fields preferred.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform service, maintenance, testing, commissioning, and repair of BAS and related electrical/mechanical systems.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and sketches.
• Draw up regular maintenance schedules.
• Establish preventive maintenance programs and work orders.
• Maintain records of maintenance costs, incidents, and procedures.
• Develop and maintain equipment manuals and documentation.
• Initiate continuous improvement projects to meet operating goals.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Key responsibilities

Perform service and maintenance and testing and commissioning works including troubleshooting, repairing, preventive maintenance, test run, and servicing of building automation system includes mechanical and electrical services.

Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and sketches.

Draw up a schedule for regular maintenance.

Establish and maintain preventive maintenance programs and work order systems on all equipment and system.

Keep records of maintenance and repair costs, incidents, and procedures.

Develop and maintain documentation system for equipment manuals, schematics, and other appropriate records.

Initiate continuous improvement projects to achieve operational goals.

Perform any other job function that may be assigned by superior.

About you

Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic), Engineering (Mechanical), Engineering (Mechatronic/Electromechanical) or equivalent.

MS Office, MS Project, AutoCAD.

Fast learner and able to work independently or with team.

Minimum of 1 to 2 year(s) of working experience in the construction, BAS (Building Automation System) , HVAC or electrical / electronic field is preferable for this position.
