is seeking a BIM Engineer to develop and maintain 3D BIM models from drawings and project requirements, covering civil, structural and infrastructure scopes, and to prepare model-based deliverables for submission and construction. • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field is required.
• At least 3–5 years of relevant civil design experience.
• Proficient in Civil3D, AutoCAD, Revit and project management tools.
• Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.
• Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and safety standards; BEP exposure preferred.

Job description

Develop and maintain 3D BIM models based on engineering drawings, design information and project requirements.

Prepare BIM models for civil, structural and infrastructure projects in accordance with project BIM standards and guidelines.

Assist in producing BIM deliverables, including 3D models & construction drawings.

Coordinate BIM models with different disciplines such as civil, structural and M&E teams to ensure proper integration of design information.

Perform clash detection and model coordination using BIM software and assist the design team in resolving design conflicts.

Update the BIM model according to site changes, including RFIs, variation orders, design revisions, and site instructions issued during construction.

Support the BIM team in preparing model-based drawings and documentation for project submissions and construction use.

Maintain proper model version control and documentation in accordance with project BIM standards.

Assist in implementing BIM workflows` and supporting the organization’s digital engineering initiatives.

Ensure BIM models comply with the organization’s BIM Execution Plan (BEP) and project requirements.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field

At least 3 - 5 years of relevant civil design experience

Proficiency in using engineering software, such as Civil3D, AutoCAD, Revit, and project management tools

Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams

Knowledge of relevant building codes, regulations, and safety standards

Registration with the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM) or a related professional body
