Job summary

AFA PROJECT AND MANAGEMENT SERVICES SDN. BHD. is seeking a seasoned Mechanical/Electrical Engineer to lead highway maintenance projects in Malaysia.

You will oversee planning, coordinating, and supervising major and minor works to ensure compliance with client requirements and government regulations. You will handle administrative duties, manage budgets and reports for clients and management. Registration with BEM and at least 5 years of experience in road/highways maintenance or project

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related engineering field.
• Registered with Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM) and at least 5 years of experience in construction site, road/highways maintenance engineering or project management.

Responsibilities

• Manage highway maintenance activities in line with company policy and government regulations.
• Undertake administrative duties as required.
• Analyze, plan, coordinate, monitor, control and review projects (Major & Minor), routine maintenance and panel work progress.
• Ensure records for projects are well kept and confidential.
• Analyze, plan, schedule, propose and implement remedial works within budget.
• Coordinate, prepare and submit reports to clients and superiors accurately and timely.

Job description

Ensure all highway maintenance activities which are related with Mechanical and Engineering are properly and safely executed as required by the company's objective, company policy, client's requirements and government's regulations.

Undertake and responsible on administrative duty as when required.

Always analyst, plan coordinate, monitor, control and review Project (Major & Minor), Routine Maintenance and Panel work progress / status.

Ensure all records pertaining to the project (Major & Minor), Routine Maintenance and Panel activities are well kept, maintain and control to ensure the private and confidential documents belong to the company are well kept and not expose to the public.

Analyze, plan, schedule, propose and implement identified detect or other remedial works including routine periodic and major maintenance works. Confirm all works executed are within the budget limit.

Coordinate, monitor, prepare, compile and submit reports to the clients and superiors are accurate in timely manner.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related engineering field.

Registered with Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM) and have at least 5 years of experience in construction sire, road / highways maintenance engineering or project management.
