Job summary

IAQ Group in Malaysia is seeking a BIM Engineer to create architectural and MEP models using Autodesk Revit and related BIM software. You will ensure model alignment with BIM Execution Plan, coordinate design changes, and manage BIM technology implementation across construction projects.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in construction, strong communication, and the ability to multi-task on several projects while traveling as required.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Mechanical, HVAC, Mechatronics or Electrical Engineering.
• Min 3 years in the construction industry with hands-on BIM experience.
• Proficient in Autodesk Revit and related BIM software.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Willing to travel outstation as required.
• High integrity, result-oriented and able to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Create Architectural, MEP, Plumbing, Sanitary, Process Pipe and Electrical models.
• Ensure models align with BIM Execution Plan and project workflow.
• Coordinate design changes with internal and external teams.
• Manage BIM technology implementation and ensure quality deliverables.

Creating Architectural, Mechanical HVAC, Mechanical Pipe, Plumbing & Sanitary, Process Pipe and/or Electrical models;

Ensure that the model aligns with the standards and goals set in BIM Execution Plan and BIM project workflow criteria;

Collaborate and coordinate internally or/ and externally with other disciplines design-changes and model changes;

Manage BIM technology implementation and ensure quality deliverables on construction projects;

Understand and ensure any changes in BIM Models are effectively communicated to project teams.

Requirements: -

Degree/ Diploma in Mechanical/ HVAC/ Mechatronics/ Electrical Engineering or equivalent;

At least 3 years working experience in the construction industry with hands on experience in Autodesk Revit and related Building Information Modeling software;

High level of integrity drives and result oriented;

Able to prioritize and work well under pressure to meet strict deadlines;

Ability to multi task, working on several projects at any one time;

Good interpersonal and communication skill;

Willing to travel outstation as and when required.
