Job summary

IAQ Group is seeking a BIM Engineer to create architectural, HVAC, piping and electrical models using Revit. You will ensure alignment with BIM plans and coordinate changes across disciplines on diverse projects in Malaysia.

The role requires proactive communication and the ability to manage BIM implementation to deliver quality results. With at least 3 years in the construction industry, you will join a certified firm delivering EPCC and maintenance services across industries such as

Qualifications

• Degree/ Diploma in Mechanical/HVAC/ Mechatronics/ Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 3 years in construction with hands-on Revit/BIM experience.
• Ability to prioritize, multi-task and meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Create Architectural, Mechanical HVAC, Pipe, Plumbing & Sanitary, Process Pipe and/or Electrical models.
• Ensure models align with BIM Execution Plan and project workflow criteria.
• Coordinate design changes with internal and external teams.
• Manage BIM technology implementation and deliver quality outputs on projects.
• Communicate any BIM model changes effectively to project teams.

Job description

Creating Architectural, Mechanical HVAC, Mechanical Pipe, Plumbing & Sanitary, Process Pipe and/or Electrical models;

Ensure that the model aligns with the standards and goals set in BIM Execution Plan and BIM project workflow criteria;

Collaborate and coordinate internally or/ and externally with other disciplines design-changes and model changes;

Manage BIM technology implementation and ensure quality deliverables on construction projects;

Understand and ensure any changes in BIM Models are effectively communicated to project teams.

Requirements: -

Degree/ Diploma in Mechanical/ HVAC/ Mechatronics/ Electrical Engineering or equivalent;

At least 3 years working experience in the construction industry with hands on experience in Autodesk Revit and related Building Information Modeling software;

High level of integrity drives and result oriented;

Able to prioritize and work well under pressure to meet strict deadlines;

Ability to multi task, working on several projects at any one time;

Good interpersonal and communication skill;

Willing to travel outstation as and when required.
