Job summary

Exentec Services Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a BIM Modeller based in Kulim, Kedah. The role involves designing, routing, and producing equipment and piping drawings, and creating BIM models throughout the project lifecycle with close collaboration with the project team.

You will prepare CAD data and shop drawings, ensure model integrity, and coordinate with clients. Travel to Bayan Lepas, Penang, and other site offices may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum Certificate or Diploma in Mechanical Drafting & Design, Mechanical Piping.
• Experience with BIM MEP design is encouraged to apply.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in C&S, Reinforcement/ Architectural/ Electrical & Mechanical BIM Models.
• Well versed in Revit.

Responsibilities

• Design, route, and ensure equipment and piping designs meet requirements.
• Prepare drawings using CAD tools.
• Assist BIM Coordinators in creating, updating, and revising BIM Models across the project life cycle.

Job description

BIM Modeller shall design, route, and consider the equipment and piping design modeled to meet the objectives and is accordance with the relevant document requirements.

Preparation of drawings using CAD tool.

Assist BIM Coordinators in creating, updating, and revising BIM Models throughout the project life cycle.

Create and update BIM Models based on contract drawings and latest information.

Ensure integrity/ quality of the models. (Generate REVIT family base on catalogue).

Generate documentation and shop drawings for site installation.

Produce BIM Model deliverables for Construction, documentation, and fabrication.

To design and prepare CAD data, all related engineering drawings to meet corporate and customer’s requirement.

Reviewing project specifications and other data to develop related drawings.

To design and prepare piping drawing including support.

Maintain quality standards and accurate drawings for fabrication and erection.

Liaise with project team members, project engineers and client for designing related engineering drawing.

Support Planning & Design Section documentation work including drafting work requested by incumbent superior or Section Head.

Requirements:

Minimum Certificate or Diploma in Mechanical Drafting & Design, Mechanical Piping.

Experience with BIM MEP design are encouraged to apply.

Minimum with 3 year(s) of relevant experience in C&S, Reinforcement/ Architectural/ Electrical & Mechanical BIM Models related projects

Well versed in Revit.

Able to complete models, shop drawings in timely and quality manner.

Familiarity with 3D modelling tools such as Plant 3D & Navisworks is added advantage.

Good in English & Bahasa Malaysia communication and writing skills.

Able to work independently with minimum supervision through the process.

Understanding of Engineering, Drawings and Project site environments.

Possess own transport and willing to travel as and when required.

Incumbent will be based in Kulim, Kedah and travel to Bayan Lepas, Penang office & other site office as and when required.
