Job summary

Accesstech Engineering Pte Ltd is seeking a skilled MEP drafter to create detailed 2D and 3D models for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems using Revit, AutoCAD MEP, and BIM tools. The role requires accurate modelling, dimensional fidelity, and adherence to project standards.

Qualifications

• Certificate in AutoCAD Autodesk advanced module.
• Certificate in Revit MEP Autodesk advanced module.
• Higher NITEC / Diploma in Mechanical engineering or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of MEP drafting experience using AutoCAD, Revit and BIM, preferably in construction.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and under pressure, with team collaboration.
• Proficient in English for interaction with site and BIM teams.

Job description

Create detailed 2D and 3D models of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems using software like Revit, AutoCAD MEP, or other BIM tools.

Generate construction documents, detailed drawings, and shop drawings from the 3D models for use on-site by contractors.

Identify and resolve clashes between MEP systems and other building elements using clash detection tools within the modelling software.

Ensure all MEP components are accurately modelled with the correct dimensions, materials, and specifications.

Review models and drawings for accuracy and compliance with project standards, codes, and regulations.

Maintain accurate documentation of models, revisions, and updates, and prepare reports on the modelling process as needed.

Assist the MEP design team with design changes, updates, and modifications based on client feedback or design requirements.

Occasionally support site coordination efforts by updating models based on field conditions or providing visual aids for construction teams.

Stay updated with the latest BIM standards, modelling techniques, and industry best practices to ensure high quality outputs.

Liaise & coordinate with BIM Coordinators & modelers to resolve routing and installation conflicts.

Requirements:

Certificate in AutoCAD Autodesk advanced module.

Certificate in Revit MEP Autodesk advanced module.

Higher NITEC / Diploma in Mechanical engineering or equivalent.

Minimum 3-5 years of experience in M&E drafting using AutoCAD, Revit and BIM preferably from Construction industry.

Outgoing personality with strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Ability to work independently and target oriented in a stressful environment.

Ability to work well in a team and demonstrate initiative and commitment.

To be able to converse in English and work effectively with Internal staff including Site Foreman, Supervisors, Engineers, Managers and Client’s BIM representatives.
