Job summary

Puritec Technologies in Malaysia is seeking a BIM engineer to develop, update, and maintain 3D BIM models for mechanical, electrical, process piping, exhaust, and utility systems, and to prepare shop drawings and construction drawings. You will perform clash detection with Navisworks and coordinate with project teams to resolve conflicts.

Diploma or Degree in Engineering or related field with 2+ years BIM experience; proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks; willing to relocate to Singapore or

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering, BIM, Drafting, Architecture, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of BIM modeling experience in semiconductor, cleanroom, MEP, facility hook-up, or industrial projects. Fresh graduates with relevant BIM skills are welcome to apply.
• Proficient in Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks.
• Experienced in clash detection, clash reporting, and model coordination using Navisworks.
• Familiar with Revit family creation, customization, and library management.
• Able to interpret engineering drawings, P&IDs, isometric drawings, and construction documents.
• Familiar with BIM standards, drawing extraction, and model management processes.
• Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently and meet project deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Develop, update, and maintain 3D BIM models for mechanical, electrical, process piping, exhaust, and utility systems.
• Prepare BIM models, shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and construction drawings in accordance with project requirements.
• Perform clash detection and coordination using Navisworks and work with project teams to resolve design conflicts.
• Create, modify, and maintain Revit families to meet project requirements and standards.
• Extract quantities and generate Material Take-Offs (MTOs) from BIM models to support estimation and procurement activities.
• Coordinate with engineers, project teams, subcontractors, and other disciplines to ensure model accuracy and constructability.
• Participate in BIM coordination meetings and support design reviews.
• Prepare as-built models and ensure BIM deliverables are completed on schedule.
• Support site teams with BIM-related technical coordination and drawing revisions.
• Able to relocate to Singapore or overseas whenever required.

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of piping, exhaust, process utility, electrical, and HVAC systems.

Familiarity with Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), BIM 360, and Common Data Environment (CDE) workflows.

Experience in generating shop drawings, spool drawings, and quantity take-offs from BIM models.
