Job summary

Surbana Consultants Pte Ltd – KSA branch is seeking a BIM Modeler in Kuala Lumpur to produce CAD and BIM Revit drawings for MEP works and coordinate closely with engineers and designers. You will develop 3D BIM models, extract 2D drawings to meet project submission deadlines, and maintain ISO-standard records and procedures.

The role involves backing up files, participating in CSD coordination meetings, and supporting project presentations.

Qualifications

• Produces drawings on CAD and BIM Revit models for MEP works.
• Maintains quality of production and adheres to drafting standards.
• Updates 3D BIM models and develops 2D drawings from BIM with accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Produce drawings on CAD and BIM Revit models for MEP works.
• Meet project deadlines set by Project Manager or CAD/BIM Manager.
• Ensure drawings conform to office or client drafting standards and submission schedules.
• Maintain and update BIM models and records, including clashes, RFIs, and BIM Register.
• Back up drawings regularly and perform directory housekeeping.
• Participate in CSD coordination meetings and communicate issues to the project team.
• Support presentations with BIM models and related activities.
• Report progress regularly to Project Manager.

## BIM ModelerApply: Kuala Lumpur: Full time: Posted Today: End Date: November 2, 2026 (30+ days left to apply): JR118743**Job Description for BIM Modeler** * Production of drawings on CAD and BIM Revit model for MEP (Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing) works* Working towards deadlines set by Project Manager or CAD/BIM Manager* Responsible for the quality of production* Prepare and update 3D BIM models for development of CSD models for submissions* Participate in the production of 2D drawings from BIM models with accuracy ensuring drawings produced are according to the Office or the Client’s Drafting Standards and Procedures, and the drawing submission schedule is achieved* Maintain proper records of all issued & received models/drawings, Clash Reports, RFIs, BIM Register in accordance with the company’s ISO Standards and Procedures and ensure all the drawings are completed on schedule or in a timely manner.* Perform regular drawing backups and housekeeping work in the directory* Participate the CSD coordination meetings with engineers and designers. Define all the CSD issues, prepare and distribute the issues accordingly. Follow up with the project team on CSD and BIM model update* Support Project Team for Presentations with BIM Model and related activities* Work under the supervision of BIM Manager and perform work task assigned* Report regularly to the Project Manager on the progress of assigned project works* Knowledge sharing with others, team working spirit.
