Job summary

LanTro (M) Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a BIM Engineer to develop and manage detailed 3D BIM models for M&E systems using Revit. You will coordinate models with architectural and structural disciplines to minimize clashes and produce accurate shop drawings from BIM data.

The role requires hands-on BIM experience, proficiency in Revit, and a strong understanding of M&E coordination, with opportunities to participate in site coordination and ongoing BIM technology updates.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of hands-on BIM modelling for M&E systems.
• Proficient in Revit; familiarity with Navisworks/AutoCAD is a plus.
• Strong understanding of M&E systems and cross-disciplinary coordination.
• Experience producing shop drawings and construction documentation.
• Knowledge of clash detection and issue resolution.
• Able to interpret BIM Execution Plans and project standards.
• Good communication and teamwork across disciplines.
• Willing to attend site meetings and on-site coordination.
• Self-driven, detail-oriented, committed to high-quality work.

• Develop and manage detailed 3D BIM models for M&E (Mechanical & Electrical) systems using tools such as Revit


• Coordinate BIM models with architectural, structural, and other disciplines to ensure proper integration and minimize clashes


• Produce accurate shop drawings, schedules, and construction documentation from BIM models


• Perform clash detection and proactively resolve coordination issues


• Ensure all models comply with the BIM Execution Plan (BEP) and project-specific standards


• Conduct regular quality checks to maintain model accuracy, consistency, and completeness


• Participate in coordination meetings and support site inspections when required


• Stay updated with the latest BIM technologies, tools, and industry best practices

Job Requirements:

• At least 2 years of hands‑on experience in BIM modelling for M&E systems


• Proficient in Revit; familiarity with Navisworks, AutoCAD, or similar software is an added advantage


• Strong understanding of M&E systems and coordination with other building disciplines


• Experience in producing shop drawings and construction‑related documentation
