Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a BIM Modeller to produce BIM model deliverables for design, documentation and fabrication. You will ensure professional BIM output, identify discrepancies for BIM Managers, and model with correct parameters for quantification and 4D simulation.

You will create BIM content, extract production documents, and produce AutoCAD and Revit drawings in line with project requirements. Knowledge of shop and as-built drawings is essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in mechanical engineering.
• Certificate from BCA BIM modelling course or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of work experience in M&E, preferably in building construction.

Responsibilities

• Produce BIM model deliverables for design, documentation and fabrication purpose.
• Ensure BIM models are delivered with professionalism (Quality, due diligence and timeliness).
• Identify issues for BIM Managers where discrepancies occur during design production.
• Ensure BIM models include correct BIM parameters and attributes for BIM assisted quantification and 4D simulation.
• Create BIM content and extract production documents for BIM assisted projects.
• Produce accurate AUTOCAD and REVIT BIM drawings according to project requirements.
• Complete documentation from detailed/dconstruction/shop/as-built drawings and produce drawing sets.
• Assist BIM Coordinators in creating BIM models and basic BIM libraries.
• Prepare shop drawings and as-built drawings.

• Ensure that BIM models are delivered with professionalism (Quality, due diligence and timeliness)
• Identify issues for BIM Managers where discrepancies occur during design production.
• Ensure BIM models are modelled with the correct BIM parameters and attributes for BIM assisted Quantification, 4 D simulation
• The BIM modeller’s overall responsibility is to create BIM content and extracting production documents for the purpose of delivering a BIM assisted project.
• Produce accurate AUTOCAD and REVIT BIM drawing according to project requirements;
• To complete documentation from detailed engineering drawings, construction drawings, shop drawings, and as-built drawings, and produce drawing sets
• They assist BIM Coordinators in creating BIM models for projects. Assist in building basic BIM libraries.
• Preparation of shop drawings, and As-built drawing;

Job Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Certificate from BCA BIM modelling course or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years of work experience in M&E field, preferably in building construction industry
• Proficient in AUTOCAD and MEP Revit software
• Able to work independently under stress and pressure
