Job summary

IJM Corporation Berhad is seeking an experienced BIM Specialist in Malaysia to develop, update and maintain 3D BIM models in line with BEP and project requirements. You will coordinate design models across disciplines, conduct clash detection, and support site teams with BIM coordination.

The ideal candidate holds a degree in Engineering or Architecture with 3–5 years of BIM modelling experience in construction; Data Centre exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
• 3–5 years of BIM modelling experience in the construction industry.
• Data centre experience is a plus.
• Proficient in Revit and Navisworks for BIM coordination.

Responsibilities

• Develop, update and maintain 3D BIM models in accordance with the BIM Execution Plan (BEP) and project requirements.
• Coordinate and integrate design models across all disciplines to identify and resolve design conflicts.
• Conduct clash detection and prepare coordination reports to support design and site teams.
• Review and verify BIM models to ensure completeness, accuracy and alignment with latest design changes.
• Support the implementation of BIM workflows, modelling standards, templates, and quality control procedures.
• Provide BIM support and technical assistance to project teams during design, coordination, and construction stages.
• Ensure model information aligns with client requirements, design specifications, and company standards.

Degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related technical field.

Minimum 3-5 years of experience in BIM modelling in Construction industry.

Data Centre experience is a plus.

Proficient in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, and other relevant BIM coordination tools.

Strong understanding of construction drawings, coordination workflow, and model integration.

Detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple model updates under tight deadlines.
