Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a BIM Coordinator to develop, manage and coordinate high-quality 3D models and 2D documentation for building projects. You will ensure models align with BEP and ISO19650, run clash checks, and drive efficiency through AI-enabled workflows.

Applicants should have advanced BIM software skills (Revit, Navisworks) and a Diploma. You will collaborate across disciplines to support design, construction and operations phases.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain detailed 3D models.
• Attribute elements with precise data to support 3D, 4D, 5D.
• Run clash analysis to identify and resolve interdisciplinary conflicts before site execution.
• Manage the overall project modelling strategies and BIM output through all delivery stages.
• Organize and direct coordination across disciplines.
• Check and validate drawings/models output.
• Generate accurate 2D drawings, schedules and quantity take offs directly from the BIM model.
• Ensure all models follow the BEP and ISO19650 protocols.
• Ability to work at a fast-paced pace.
• Utilise AI tools to automate repetitive tasks and digitalise workflows, and identify opportunities to improve productivity.
• Comply with Quality, Safety & Health and Environment policies.
• Any other duties assigned by Management.

• To develop, manage, and coordinate high-quality 3D digital models and extraction of 2D documentation. Ensure that all digital assets adhere to project standards and provide accurate data for the design, construction, and operational phases of the building lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and maintain detailed 3D models.
• Attribute elements with precise data to support 3D, 4D, 5D.
• Run clash analysis to identify and resolve interdisciplinary conflicts before site execution.
• Responsible for managing the overall project modelling strategies and BIM output through all delivery stages of the project.
• Responsible for organizing and directing the coordination across disciplines.
• Check and validate drawings/models output.
• Generate accurate 2D drawings, schedules and quantity take offs directly from the BIM model.
• Ensure all models follow the BIM Execution Plan (BEP) and the latest ISO19650 protocols.
• Ability to work at a fast-paced pace.
• Actively utilise AI tools to automate repetitive tasks and digitalise workflows, consistently identifying opportunities to improve daily productivity while participating in upskilling initiatives to advance AI capabilities.
• To comply and adhere to all matters pertaining to Quality, Safety & Health and Environment related to the job scope and workplace as required by the Company.
• Any other duties that will be assigned from time to time by the Management.

Skills & Abilities

• Coordinate with BIM Manager, other coordinators and other project BIM stakeholders.
• Creates a common federated model that aggregates information from all disciplines from the BIM uses.
• Participate and contribute in design and coordination meetings.
• Assembles and maintains any multidiscipline project models which are used to create the BIM delivery.
• Creates project delivery output including drawings from models compliant with the government and appointing party’s guidelines.
• Performs coordination and clash detection processes in an effective manner.
• Check and validate model content with respect to the scope of work.
• Track and manage changes requested by the technical team, considering all required status parameters, and organization of model by work zones and locations.
• Oversee day to day activities of Revit software used to ensure integrity of the BIM model.
• Proactive mindset for digital experimentation and proficiency in applying AI productivity tools to streamline operations and enhance output quality.
• Hands-on experience with Google Workspace (GWS) tools is an added advantage.
