Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a BIM Engineer to create Architectural, Mechanical HVAC, Mechanical Pipe, Plumbing, Sanitary, Process Pipe and/or Electrical models for construction projects.

You will ensure the model meets the BIM Execution Plan and workflow criteria, coordinate with internal and external design teams, and lead BIM technology implementation to deliver quality deliverables. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years working experience in the construction industry with hands-on experience in BIM and Revit.
• Ability to multitask and meet strict deadlines.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel outstation/ overseas as required.

Responsibilities

• Create Architectural, Mechanical HVAC, Mechanical Pipe, Plumbing & Sanitary, Process Pipe and/or Electrical BIM models.
• Ensure models align with BIM Execution Plan and project workflow criteria.
• Collaborate and coordinate with internal or external disciplines for design changes and model updates.
• Manage BIM technology implementation and ensure quality deliverables on construction projects.
• Communicate BIM model changes effectively to project teams.

• Creating Architectural, Mechanical HVAC, Mechanical Pipe, Plumbing & Sanitary, Process Pipe and/or Electrical models
• Ensure that the model aligns with the standards and goals set in BIM Execution Plan and BIM project workflow criteria
• Collaborate and coordinate internally or/ and externally with other disciplines design-changes and model changes
• Manage BIM technology implementation and ensure quality deliverables on construction projects
• Understand and ensure any changes in BIM Models are effectively communicated to project teams

Requirements: -

• Degree/ Diploma in Mechanical/ HVAC/ Mechatronics/ Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• At least 3 years working experience in the construction industry with hands on experience in Autodesk Revit and related Building Information Modeling software
• High level of integrity drives and result oriented
• Able to prioritize and work well under pressure to meet strict deadlines
• Ability to multitask, working on several projects at any one time
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Willing to travel outstation/ oversea as and when required
