Job summary

Airswift in Penang, Malaysia, is seeking a junior Design Engineer to create precise project drawings and BIM models using AutoCAD and Revit in line with client specifications and schedules.

You will work closely with project managers, clients, and third parties to ensure seamless coordination, maintain high-quality design solutions, and build strong client relationships through proactive communication and timely support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years of experience in a similar role.
• Prior Data Centre project experience is highly advantageous.

Job description

• Ensure timely and precise creation of project drawings and design diagrams that align with client specifications and project schedules.
• Foster and maintain strong relationships with clients, delivering high-quality design solutions and providing exceptional service to meet their needs.
• Work closely with project managers, clients, and third parties to ensure seamless coordination and successful execution of projects.
• Stay up to date with the latest BIM, Revit, and AutoCAD tools, along with company-specific technology and standards, ensuring high competency and skill application.
• Draft and model accurate system designs using AutoCAD and BIM Revit software in accordance with project schedules and client requirements.
• Continuously update system design diagrams as project requirements evolve, ensuring accuracy and relevancy throughout the project lifecycle.
• Build and nurture positive relationships with existing clients by providing high-quality design solutions and maintaining clear, open communication.
• Collaborate with project managers, third parties, and clients (when required) to coordinate site inspections and ensure project requirements are met.
• Actively participate in internal training programs and pursue self-driven learning to stay proficient in industry tools, products, and technology.
• Follow The Company's standards, policies, and procedures to maintain the high quality of services provided.
• Respond promptly and efficiently to service requests within the assigned region to ensure timely support and client satisfaction.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
• 1 - 2 years' of experience working in a similar role
• Prior experience working in Data Centre projects will be highly advantageous.
