Job summary

BCA Technology is seeking BIM Engineers, BIM Modellers, and Drafters to join our team in Kuala Lumpur or Johor Iskandar. You will develop, coordinate, and deliver high-quality BIM models and technical drawings for building services projects across the region.

As part of the role, you will work with Mechanical, Hydraulic, and Electrical disciplines, contributing to clash detection, design coordination, and documentation. Opportunities for growth and exposure to diverse projects are available.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Design, Drafting, BIM, or a related discipline.
• Experience with AutoCAD and/or Revit.
• Experience in BIM modelling, drafting, or technical documentation.
• Familiarity with Navisworks and BIM 360 is advantageous.
• Understanding BIM standards, workflows, and coordination processes.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain BIM models (LOD300-500) and technical drawings using AutoCAD and/or Revit.
• Produce accurate and high-quality documentation in accordance with company standards.
• Coordinate building services models and perform clash detection using industry-standard BIM tools.
• Work closely with engineers and project teams to identify and resolve design and coordination issues.
• Contribute to the successful delivery of multidisciplinary building projects.

BUILDING SERVICES BIM ENGINEER (M&E SERVICES)

AutoCAD and/or Revit

BCA Technology is growing and seeking motivated BIM Engineers, BIM Modellers, and Drafters to join our team in either Kuala Lumpur or Johor Iskandar.

We are recruiting across all experience levels within the following building services disciplines:

Mechanical HVAC Services

Hydraulic Services

Electrical Services

Working alongside our Directors, Principal Engineers, and Design Managers, you will contribute to the delivery of high-quality BIM models, technical drawings, and design documentation for a diverse range of building projects across Australia and the region.

About the Role

As a BIM Engineer, you will play a key role in the development and coordination of building services models, ensuring accurate and efficient project delivery from design through to documentation.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and maintain BIM models (LOD300-500) and technical drawings using AutoCAD and/or Revit.

Produce accurate and high-quality documentation in accordance with company standards.

Coordinate building services models and perform clash detection using industry-standard BIM tools.

Work closely with engineers and project teams to identify and resolve design and coordination issues.

Contribute to the successful delivery of multidisciplinary building projects.

What We're Looking For

Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Design, Drafting, BIM, or a related discipline.

Experience with AutoCAD and/or Revit.

Experience in BIM modelling, drafting, or technical documentation.

Familiarity with Navisworks and BIM 360 is advantageous.

Understanding of BIM standards, workflows, and coordination processes.

Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned tasks.
