Job summary

Airswift is seeking a skilled BIM Drafter to join our engineering solutions team. You will prepare BIM Revit and AutoCAD drawings for building services projects across commercial and industrial environments, ensuring alignment with project requirements and delivery schedules.

You will coordinate with project stakeholders, update drawings during design and site phases, maintain document control, and stay current with BIM best practices.

Qualifications

• 3+ years BIM/MEP drafting experience.
• Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.
• Experience with construction documentation and coordination drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare BIM Revit and AutoCAD drawings per project requirements.
• Update drawings to reflect design changes and site requirements.
• Coordinate with internal teams, consultants, contractors and end users.
• Support design coordination, site visits and technical discussions as needed.
• Ensure drawings and documentation meet project standards and quality.

Overview

Our client is a specialist engineering solutions provider supporting building and infrastructure projects across commercial, industrial, and mission-critical environments. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing BIM/Revit and AutoCAD drawings, coordinating with project stakeholders, and supporting project delivery through accurate design documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare BIM Revit and AutoCAD drawings in accordance with project requirements, technical specifications, and delivery schedules.
• Update and revise drawings throughout various project phases to reflect design changes and site requirements.
• Coordinate with internal project teams, consultants, contractors, and end users to ensure design accuracy and effective project execution.
• Support design coordination and, where required, participate in site visits and technical discussions.
• Ensure all drawings and technical documentation are produced in accordance with project standards and quality requirements.
• Maintain accurate records and document control throughout the project lifecycle.
• Provide technical drafting and design support to project teams to facilitate timely project delivery.
• Stay updated on relevant BIM, Revit, AutoCAD, and industry best practices.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Building Services, Architecture, Construction, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in BIM drafting, MEP drafting, or building services design support.
• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit (BIM) and AutoCAD.
• Familiarity with coordination drawings, construction documentation, and technical layouts.
• Experience supporting building services, ELV, ICT, security, mechanical, or electrical systems projects will be advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities within project deadlines.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently as well as within a team.
• Willing to attend project sites as required.
