Job summary

Sime Darby Industrial Division is seeking a Supervisor, Billing to oversee the daily operations of the billing team, ensuring invoices are prepared accurately and submitted on time. The role includes resolving billing issues and coordinating with other departments for payments and process improvements.

The candidate should hold a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field, with experience in billing or finance and strong Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Previous experience in billing, finance, or accounts, preferably with supervisory experience.
• Good knowledge of billing processes and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Good communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented and able to work under deadlines.
• Ability to lead and motivate a team.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support the daily activities of the billing team.
• Ensure invoices are prepared, checked, and submitted accurately and on time.
• Monitor billing transactions and follow up on outstanding issues.
• Review billing records and ensure data accuracy.
• Attend meeting with clients, handle and resolve billing discrepancies and customer queries.
• Coordinate with other departments to resolve billing and payment issues.
• Prepare billing reports and provide updates to management.
• Train, guide, and monitor team members' performance.
• Ensure the team follows company policies and billing procedures.
• Assist the Billing Manager with process improvements and other assigned tasks.
