Job summary

Ecosense Environmental Technology Sdn. Bhd. in Malaysia is seeking an experienced business development professional to drive local market growth.

You will identify distributors, expand sales channels, and manage key accounts while aligning with production and logistics teams. The role requires Mandarin, Malay and English proficiency, a relevant degree, 4–6 years in sales, and willingness to travel. Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, Business Administration or related field.
• 4–6 years of relevant Sales/Business Development experience.
• Experience in FMCG, food service, packaging, paper products, retail or distribution is a plus.
• Proven experience in developing new customers and sales channels.
• Experience in distributor/wholesaler development is highly preferred.
• Strong communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute business development strategies for the Malaysia local market.
• Identify and develop new distributors, wholesalers, dealers, retailers and commercial customers.
• Build and expand sales channels across targeted markets.
• Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and potential customer segments.
• Conduct customer visits, product presentations and business negotiations.
• Develop and manage key accounts and strategic customers.
• Prepare quotations, sales proposals and business development plans.
• Negotiate commercial terms within the Company's approved guidelines.
• Develop long-term relationships with distributors and key customers.
• Monitor competitor products, pricing, market trends and customer requirements.
• Develop sales forecasts and achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
• Monitor sales pipeline, customer conversion and collection status.
• Work closely with Production, PMC, Warehouse, QC, Logistics and Finance to ensure customer requirements are properly supported.
• Provide regular market updates and sales performance reports to Management.
• Guide and support junior sales team members where required.
• Guide and support junior sales team members where required.
• Willing to travel for customer visits when required.
