Job summary

Talent Ready in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia is seeking a Japanese-speaking Customer Support Representative to join our team. You will assist customers in Japanese and English via live chat and email, supporting fintech/crypto products and helping users navigate complex features.

This hybrid role requires 5 days of shift work, including weekends and public holidays. On-site daytime shifts with remote night shifts; Malaysian work authorisation is required.

Qualifications

• Native-level Japanese proficiency; reading and typing required.
• Strong command of English; written and spoken.
• 2–4 years in customer service, frontline operations (Live Chat & Email).
• Experience with fintech platforms, crypto products, or financial institutions is a plus.
• Educational background in Finance, Economics, or related fields preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with inquiries via live chat or email in Japanese and English.
• Ensure an efficient, accurate, and high-quality customer service experience.
• Stay current on crypto trading platforms, products, and crypto-market fundamentals.
• Manage and follow up on inquiries or complaints from users.
• Understand customer needs and translate them into feedback and solutions.
• Flag discrepancies or risks to management promptly to maintain smooth operations.
• Seek continuous improvements to boost team performance and efficiency.
