Job summary

Kingfa Malaysia is seeking a Customs and Logistics Engineer to streamline import/export operations and ensure smooth customs clearance for the factory’s construction, production, and daily operations.

The role involves coordinating with internal departments, liaising with customs authorities, preparing clearance documentation, and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency while ensuring compliance with regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Customs & Trade or related field.
• 1 year of experience in customs or logistics, preferably in manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of import/export regulations, customs clearance procedures, and documentation requirements.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and improve the efficiency of day-to-day logistics operations.
• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
• Liaise with customs authorities and regulatory bodies to facilitate import/export processes.
• Prepare and file all necessary documentation for customs clearance, including manifests, declarations, and permits.
• Monitor shipment status and provide timely updates to stakeholders.
• Identify and resolve issues in customs clearance and optimize processes.
• Ensure compliance with laws and company policies governing international trade.
• Collaborate with logistics team to optimize transportation and distribution of goods.
• Provide technical support to team members on customs-related matters.
• Conduct inventory counts and monitor local logistics costs in the region.
