Job summary

Fuku in Penang seeks an Applications Support professional to join a growing team. You will support large installations, including servers and applications, and work with a collaborative team to triage incidents and perform root-cause analysis.

The role requires fluent English and Chinese, hands-on experience in web-based systems, and readiness to work rotational shifts. You will document runbooks and participate in deployments using CI/CD tools to ensure reliable IT operations.

Qualifications

• Must have fluent English and Chinese for communication with regional stakeholders
• Hands-on experience in application support, production support, or technical operations for web-based systems
• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
• Structured troubleshooting approach and ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure
• Willingness to work rotational shifts, including weekends and public holidays

Responsibilities

• Operations & Monitoring: Monitor system health, alerts, logs, and dashboards to detect incidents
• Technical Troubleshooting: Investigate application-level issues and perform root cause analysis
• Incident Prioritization: Assess incident severity and business impact for resolution
• Deployment Support: Execute and monitor deployments using CI/CD tools and post-deployment validation
• Documentation: Create and maintain runbooks and knowledge base articles to improve efficiency
