Job summary

AriXGato is a unique cafe and dining space in Malaysia, blending a Japanese garden with a matcha cafe, coffee, and Japanese-inspired food. We are seeking a proactive cafe supervisor to oversee daily operations and ensure exceptional service.

You will lead the barista and service team, prepare coffee and matcha to standard, and uphold hygiene and SOPs. Strong leadership, customer service, and beverage knowledge are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Barista or cafe experience preferred.
• Latte art, hand brew coffee, matcha drink skills.
• Supervisory or team-lead experience is an advantage.
• Good knowledge of coffee and/or matcha.
• Responsible, hands-on, and able to lead a team.
• Good communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily cafe operations and ensure smooth service.
• Lead and support the barista and service team during shifts.
• Prepare coffee, matcha, and other beverages according to standards.
• Maintain beverage quality, presentation, cleanliness, and hygiene.
• Train and guide baristas and service staff.
• Handle customer service and resolve operational issues professionally.
• Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering and inventory control.
• Ensure SOPs, opening/closing procedures, and service standards are followed.
• Support the manager with daily operations, staff coordination, and basic reporting.
